GETTING PAID

Making sure that employees are paid in an efficient and timely manner is of top priority to Greene Resources. Here are some common questions about our policies:

Where do I get timesheets?

You will receive time sheets, along with instructions on how to properly fill them out, upon your first day of employment. If for any reason you find yourself without any timesheets, it is your responsibility to call the Greene Resources office and request that they be sent to you immediately to avoid any delay in payroll processing.

When are timesheets due?

Timesheets should be sent in every Friday unless you work weekends and then they should be sent on Sunday to (919) 882-9411. They must be filled out properly and signed by a supervisor. The absolute latest we can receive timesheets is noon on Monday following the week you worked in order for you to be paid on time. If timesheets are received after this cutoff, your time will be processed with the following week’s payroll.

The timesheet I completed is incorrect, how do I report my correct hours?

A revised timesheet must be submitted. The revised timesheet should reflect the correct amount of all hours using the correct pay period ending dates. Please write “REVISED” at the top of the time sheet. Payroll processes any corrections with the next payroll when submitted by the deadline.

What happens if I don’t fill out my timecard completely?

When payroll receives a timecard with missing information, it delays your paycheck and the paychecks of your co-workers. It is vital that we have your time worked (calculated correctly), a legible name, address, company name, and correct week ending date. Most importantly, we cannot process timecards that are missing the supervisor’s signature. Missing information could delay your paycheck.

What do I do if it’s Friday afternoon and I haven’t seen my paycheck?

Our policy is that you must wait until the Monday following your pay week before calling our office to inquire about your paycheck. This time lapse allows for unpredictable mail schedules and allows for the deposit schedule of your bank.

The timesheet I faxed over did not reach your office. How can I make sure it goes through in the future?

We ask that all timesheets be faxed to 882-9411 (an e-fax number) so that we can have record of your fax. We also ask that you take a moment to print off a fax confirmation so that if any questions arise, you will have proof of transmittal.

How am I compensated?

Greene Resources contractors are paid based on an hourly rate (unless otherwise specified). This rate will vary, depending on the particular job opportunity being considered. Prior to accepting a job assignment, you and your recruiter will agree on the rate you will be paid.
